The Silk Roads
Because Marco Polo once did it, and because the Romans were already, in their own way, using parts of it, we had to try the Silk Roads ourselves.
The idea was simple: travel from Europe to Asia without flying, and without hotels. Follow roads, rivers, lakes, and railways. Sleep in our tents or at a new friend’s house.
It became an extraordinary two-month journey — full of surprises, encounters, and landscapes we had never imagined. A modern adventure on one of the oldest routes in the world.
