Up the Amazon River

The Amazon River. Is there a more mystical river? Is there a quest to the sources nearly as difficult and legendary? There may be the Nile, yes... But that is for another time. In 2019 we decided at the last minute to go there and travel with some rules: going from the Atlantic to the Pacific using only the Amazon (and one of its tributaries) and its boats to go from east to west. We sailed around for four weeks, making some stops in the jungle, to finally arrive in Ecuador.
