In Burmese Days George Orwell describes a country in conflict, between modernity and tradition, between independence and negotiations with the English power. A curious country where the weather is hot and wet, where you eat garlic at every meal, and which has an amazing history. That was our goal in 2017: finding that Burma, meeting its people, fierce and proud, their traditions and their culture. Also, we discovered one of our favourite places on earth: the mythic city of thousands of temples, Bagan.
Everyone has heard of Thailand, it is the place to go. We are not fond of beaches (well, sometimes we are - and mostly because we can scuba dive around those), but we managed to find amazing lost places and misty roads, to make a road trip in the North, around the famous Golden Triangle...
